What is included in the rental at Hidden Oaks?
The outside Garden area where your wedding will take place.
Arrangements can be made to utilize the downstairs parlor of Hidden Oaks if you wish as well. Since we are a “Bed & Breakfast”, it is quite likely that some of our rooms may be rented to guests other than your wedding party. Tables, chairs, setup and break down of all wedding necessities. A valet is also included, when necessary.
Are we able to use the kitchen?
We do not have a commercial kitchen available. Generally, when Hidden Oaks B & B is rented, your caterer or restaurant will prepare the food in an offsite kitchen and the food will then be brought ready to serve. We can provide staging and /or light preparation when needed.
Are we responsible for cleanup?
When you rent Hidden Oaks only, we are responsible for general housekeeping. You or your caterer will be responsible for cleanup of all decorations, food and beverage. When we provide a package for you, Hidden Oaks B & B is responsible for all clean up other than decorations.
Do you require a damage deposit?
A $200.00 separate deposit is required prior to the event when renting the facility. The deposit is for any damage, cleanup or any additional charges that may be incurred during your function. If no charges are incurred, your deposit will be returned to you 24 hours after your wedding or event.
Where do we park?
There is some parking within our gates. However, during events our valet parkers will take the cars to our property across the street. Your guests will never have to walk.
Do you have wireless internet?
Yes, we offer FREE wireless internet service.
Do you provide liquor?
We do not have a liquor license at Hidden Oaks, but you are welcome to provide your own, and we will provide a licensed bartender for you if you wish. Or, we can provide you with a name of a full service liquor company who will custom design the bar menu for your Wedding. When alcohol is served, a security officer is required.
How do I reserve the date?
To secure the date a $500.00 deposit is required. Sixty days thereafter an additional 20% of the outstanding balance is due, and the final balance is due 30 days before the event date.
Can I bring my own caterer?
Yes! Hidden Oaks Bed & Breakfast allows and encourages outside catering. However, we have some of the very best caterers in Houston at your disposal. Some of our vendors are quite busy, so keep in mind confirming your date early so that all your preferences are available. If you do choose your own caterer, we do require that the be licensed and insured.
How many hours do we have?
This is one of the unique and special features about renting our facility at Hidden Oaks Bed & Breakfast. The event itself is usually for 4 hours, but you will have the facility for the entire day. We make sure that you have plenty of time to prepare before the wedding, and time to change and gather your many memories afterward. We want your memories of your wedding day and Hidden Oaks to be perfect!
If additional hours are needed for the event itself, there will be overtime charges for staffing, DJs, etc.
Do you have the option to have the event indoors as well as outdoors?
We can host events 25 – 30 guests indoors, and up to 100 outdoors.
Do you accept credit cards?
We accept Visa, Master Card, Discover and American Express as well as checks. Credit card confirmation is required at time of reservation.
